Migrating from Visual FoxPro to Microsoft .Net environment
It is not a given that every IT integrator is capable of successfully executing migration projects; more so, if you have to migrate an “object-oriented” application towards a “service-oriented” application, and on top of that, if the application must remain not only accessible but also fully functional for users at all times!!!
Let’s add one more little challenge to the task: due to time and budget restrictions, the application must be migrated step by step; hence, the “old” and the “new” applications / technologies need to “talk” to each other during the entire “migration” process. This is certainly one of the greatest management and technology challenges that Analystik has ever achieved... and with great honour.

Migrating step-by-step Visual FoxPro applications to a “.Net / C#” application
-
Migrating a Visual FoxPro Database to an SQL Database
-
.NET Technology Expertise
-
Analystik has developed one of the first C# applications delivered in Québec, in 2001
-
Team with an average of 5-year experience in C# development
-
Development of a large-scale C# application which entails a database with 650 tables, about 200 screen-pages; and with over 400 users
-
CROSS-TECHNOLOGY Bridge
-
This proprietary technology enables Analystik to migrate large-scale VFP applications, step-by-step
-
It also enables data exchange between different technologies (VFP / .Net)
-
It enables more efficient converting towards the new technology
-
It enables a softer transition towards the new technology
-
VISUALFOXPRO Technology Expertise
-
For more than ten years, Analystik was a leader in Visual FoxPro development
-
Analystik has developed more than 50 VFP applications some of which with more than a few hundred users
-
Analystik has developed its own VFP development framework as well as an Architecture that enhances applications’ evolution
-
Analystik has also developed a dedicated toolbox to better diagnose VFP Database design flaws and errors
-
SQL Technology Expertise
-
Analystik has developed close to 50 Web, Windows and Mobile applications attached to SQL Databases some of which weighing more than 15 Gigs
-
Relational Databases; or to build cubes (star-like)
-
