Methodology

CMMI Model Determined to maintain its high level of competitiveness and to enhance Customer Satisfaction, Analystik started a Software Development Process Enhancement Program in fall 2004, in collaboration with CRIM, the Computer Research Institute of Montréal, implementing the CMMI model which is the ISO 9001 of the Software Development Industry.

Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) in software engineering and organizational development is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements for effective process improvement.

CMMI was initially developed by a group of experts from industry, government, and the Software Engineering Institute(SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University, to measure and to evaluate the service quality delivered by the software suppliers of the Department of Defense (DoD). It is nowadays very much in use by large Software Engineering Corporations and CIO to assess and to evaluate their Software Development Process.

SCRUM-Agile Methodology

Analystik respects the values and principles of the Agile-SCRUM Software Development methodology which recommends an « empirical » approach to development, with prototypes, short delivery cycle and maximal client involvement; to favour alignment of deliverables with clients’ needs.

This methodology also provides other benefits:

  • Reducing product costs

  • by investing solely in useful functions

  • by eliminating inefficiencies
    of processes

  • Increasing revenues

  • by maximizing product value

  • by capitalizing quickly and frequently

Analystik embraces Agile’s work and customer relationship principles and values:

  • Individuals and interactions over processes and tools

  • Working software over comprehensive documentation

  • Customer collaboration over contract negotiation

  • Responding to change over following a plan
